MS Publisher 97 can't print photos

It seems to me that there is a software problem with MS Publisher when it comes to printing greeting cards/etc. with photos of any format included. The photos show up in the card production views but only text and clipart will print out!! I've heard of others having similiar printing problems with this version of Publisher. My other software has no problem printing photos within documents on my HP932C printer. It seems to be a memory problem within the program itself. any suggestions??
I'm thinking of upgrading to Publisher 2002.

To follow up, MS has no available upgrades to this product and no known solutions- appears to be a defect at this time,(can't print text and photos at the same time) appears buying the newer version is the only solution know if you like the program- Too bad, it has a nice greeeting card maker- more versatile than any other I've tried to date.
