I sometimes have to reboot Windows XP to get MS Powerpoint 2000 to work...it's very odd. I don't have any problems with any other MS Office applications, just Powerpoint..

What happens/doesn't happen when you try to launch PP?

Absolutely nothing, as if I haven't tried to activate it.

Instead of rebooting - bring up task manager and look in the Process tab. Odds are you'll see it there and can End Task on it...It'll probably open just fine on the next attemp.

OK thanks. I'll try that. There's no telling when it will happen again, and certainly no telling why.
