Can I install MS Office Home and Student 2007 over MS Office Student and Teacher 2003? Since MS Office 2007 does NOT include MS Office OUTLOOK and MS Office 2003 does, I don't want to loose my Outlook that was installed with Office 2003.

I wouldn't do it that way;) Then again, I prefer 2003 or 2007 all day long...

The reason I wouldn't do it that way is cause you can have TWO different Office versions installed and there are some side effects.

    Backup Outlook's pst file(s)
    Unintall 2003
    Install 2007
Pop in the 2003 cd and Only install Outlook.

I was thinking that MS Office 2007 is the update/upgrade version of 2003 therefore it would do a "normal" update/upgrade installation?

And I didn't think any of the Student editions had Outlook;)

It's your call...Just back up your pst file before proceeding with the upgrade.

The old Teacher and Student Edition 2003 definitely has Outlook. I have that version installed on my computer now.

Thanks for the heads up...I think I'll hold on to my older version for now.

The information I have indicates you can still continue using Outlook 2003, but you won't be able to use Word (2007) as Outlook's email editor.

Outlook & Word have to be the same version if you want to use Word as OL's email editor.

BTW, I think Outlook 2007 is about 10x better than Outlook 2003 ever was!
