I've picked up a second computer running Win 2000 Pro. My older one is Win 98 SE, running Office 97. Somewhere in my research, I read that Office 97 is not "certified" to run on Win 2000.

So thought I'd buy Office 2000 (on the used market and therefore cheaper). I've since discovered it's not that easy to find and when you do, it's not that much cheaper than Office XP!

So I may just stick with Office 97 if it runs ok on Win 2000.

Anybody out there running Win 2000/Office 97 and have some real world results to pass on?

    Thanks.

I can't speak to Win2000, but I'm running Office 97 on a WinXP machine and it works just fine.

    :)
