I need to set up some laptops with MS Office 2010 - specifically Word configured to not correct either Grammar, Capitalisation or Spelling. Plus also, I need these 8 laptops to print directly to a printer in the room after the exam ends - rather than to a network printer as default.

Get with the person doing the exams. In theory that person will be familiar with Word;)

They'll know to look in tools->Options->Proofing and disable the options.

Printer-> Install the software for the printer on each machine... But, where or what is the printer attached to?

Better yet, during the install, select customize and do not install the tools that handle corrections such as proofing.

Students familiar with Word will know to look in Options and turn proofing ON. Don't give them that opportunity.

I ended up removing MS Office from the two notebooks. Then using the Impero software I locked out Internet access and set the default desktops up so that only Wordpad is available.
