MS Office 2000.. backround colour.

    Can anyone help? I am trying to change the application background colour of Office 2000. and am having trouble.
    When I change the app. background colour using the 'appearance' tab in Desktop properties it has no effect on Office 2000. I have tried searching for answers and come up with nothing, so I hope someone can help....

    The only thing I can find is under Tools > Options > General, you can change to a blue background whith white letters.

    You could also go to Format > Background and change the background color but that would only affect the document you're working on at the time.
