I use MS Money for my banking but it has to have IE to work.

Can I get some recommendations for software that works with Netscape? I checked out Quicken and it also says Internet Exlorer.

    Hi Bill,

I have totally ignored you today, and I apologize. I am totally clueless about online banking, and would be remiss if I did recommend any banking software.

You don't have to use software do you? I would think that your Bank would have better information for you than what you might get here. However, someone may step in who is knowledgeable and give you some recommendations.

    Sorry! :(

    Ramona :D

    Hey Ramona,

I didn't state my problem right.

My BOA account works just fine. I can go there and do all I need to do as before.

The problem is I also use MS Money to download the banking info so that I may view it off line and edit the pay lines which the bank software does not allow.

I open MS Money and I get a popup that says I need to install IE 5.5 or better to run the program. I went to the Quicken site and also says IE for system requirements.

I am really getting use to the speediness of my puter now that I have ripped out all of IE.

I could complain to MS but it has never worked before so......

    Hi Bill,

We're on the same page now...

You might take a look at PCWorld Downloads. There are several finance software packages, that may or may not be compatible with Netscape.

Too bad that Quicken sold out to MS, as do many other popular software developers. :(

I tried the links and then I remembered that it is the Bank that requires MS Money or Quicken to download the account info.

Therefore I have to use one of them and neither of them will operate with Netscape. It looks like MS has struck again!!!!:(

I really love the way my box is working without IE installed. Every day when I bootup it seems to get faster....
