MS IntelliPoint

    What does this do and why do I need it? I uninstalled it and everything is working just fine? It is no longer loading at startup so I guess it's nice to have one less thing installed on my system.

    Sorry about not being more specific. I know it's for my cordless mouse but I don't see the need for it? I guess I just don't know why I would need it my mouse works fine without it..

    Your mouse will work fine on the drivers provided by the OS, but if you want all the bells and whistles they are provided by Intellipoint:)

    Ok now I see.. After uninstalling the software I no longer get the tab under mouse property's that tells me if my signal is good and how's my battery level. I guess I do need this as it has warned me when my battery was getting low.
