My name is Carol Myers. I am an attorney in Houston, Texas. I have a dual core Dell Studio. I use my computer quite a lot but for my school work and for work. Starting Saturday, Norton tried to load a program called Insight. I chose not to allow it to be loaded. Then Internet Explore disappeared and my access to my Tegrity files for school wouldn't play and I couldn't get into my Bible software for school. The most prevalent error seems to be the Windows Installer. I went to Command Prompt and found out that I do have 4.5 Installer. I then tried to see if it was disabled by going to services. There was nothing in this folder. I cannot download any programs including the automatic windows fix program because the Windows Installer is not working. I am at a loss. Worst time to be having problems as I have a term paper due on Saturday. Any help would be appreciated.
