On some sites I frequent such as Live Journal, Mozilla's text finding feature (Ctrl+F) won't find text, even if I know it's there. If I try it in IE, it works fine.

Does Mozilla use a different search protocol than IE?

    Hi shadowhawk,

I browsed several pages on the site using CTRL+F, and "Find in this page" worked for me? Is this the only site you have problems with Find in this page, or is it on every site?

I've had it on and off at various sites. I tried the same site using Firefox and it worked. So I guess I'll stick with Firefox.

    shadowhawk,

It should work on every site in Mozilla. I'm not sure where that specific feature lives in Mozilla. It could be you need to uninstall and reinstall Mozilla. Don't do it yet though, as I want to do some research.
