    Hello,

I had a quick question about outgoing mail in the newest version of the Mozilla Thunderbird email client.

I was wondering if, when sending an outgoing message, would be possible to prompt the user to ask them whether or not they wish to add the address to their personal address book. I know that there is an option to automatically add the address whenever any mail goes out. But I would like to be able to choose which addresses to add to the personal address book while sending a message.

If this is not possible with the default install of Thunderbird Is there an extension out there that can do this?

    Thanks

I am not aware of such option or extention. My "extention" is the Del key+my judgment. But, I may accumulate 30-40 addresses/month.
I find it very annoying that it will save the same address with different "name ", like one with the correct upper case, and the same one with lower case, or the same name, and different addresses (like Spam Reports which are listed as "abuse "). This is the problem with automation.

    Welcome to the Forum, Zachary80524!

    Zachary,

I wish there was such an extension, but as Westside explains, none to date! :(
