Looks and works quite well (win98se)
    - anyone having problems compose, spacebar does not advance the cursor ?
    - for Import Addresses/Mail list contains Outlook (not OE)
but does not work for me ?
If these are common bugs, I will then report them to the
    Thunderbird site.
    regards

    Hi merlin,

No problems here with the spacebar advancing the cursor.

I have both Outlook and Outlook Express listed in the Tools | Import menu, but don't have OE on my system, therefore can't test this for you. Perhaps someone else can give you reference.

Check out this page before reporting a bug: Reporting Bugs. Altho it refers to Mozilla Firebird it suffices for Mozilla Thunderbird. This is the link for Bug searches:

    Thanks for the feedback Ramona.
I did not express myself well ...
I have MS Outlook 2000 and find that I cannot import Outlook
addresses intp Mozilla. On the Import Addresses menu I select
Outlook but an error message tells me no addresses can be
    imported.
From your post, do I assume you have successfully imported
    Outlook addresses into Thunderbird ?
    regards

    Hi Merlin,

Try Exporting your MS Outlook 2000 Address Book as a CSV file, then Import the CSV file to Netscape.

I have neither MS Outlook 2000, or Outlook Express, so I'm unable to experiment with exporting from Outlook 2000.

Let us know if this works.

    Hi Merlin,

For W2K back up your Profiles folder located in:
    ~\Documents and Settings\user_name\Application Data\Thunderbird\Profiles

    Merlin,

    Your Mail is located here:
    C:\Windows\Application Data\Mozilla\Profiles\profilename\*.slt\Mail\mailaccountname
