I'm using this app for my mail now, and am very pleased with it. Works a treat.

However, in installing it on my wife's laptop (networked to my desktop) I had an opportunity to put the icon in the tray and the startup menu. I can't find those options in my own installation, and since Thunderbird is a separate installation from the Firefox browser, I'd like them to run as near together as may be. Can you help?

What I did was to go to Start/Programs/Mozilla Thunderbird and right click to "Send to Desktop ". I then dragged the T-bird icon to my quick-launch area on the task bar... as simple as that.
