Mozilla Firefox Start Page

How do i keep firefox start page from loading when i start firefox

I take a look at the page, and, then I hit the Tab, and close it. That's all that I found necessary. To see what's showing, check Tools|Options|Startup section.
If it says my homepage, and I hit Current Page with the Mozilla Firefox page open, I think that it would make the Mozilla Firefox as new homepage. I test it, and there is no way to restore the original home page, from the settings.
