mozilla feature: popup

We can reduce the occurrence of many popups by doing this:

edit -> preferences -> advanced -> scrips & windows ->allows webpage to ->(unchecking "open unrequested windows ").

But in order to eliminated the popup to this site we should :

edit -> preferences -> advanced -> scrips & windows -> enable javascript for -> (unchecking "Navigator ")

when you uncheck the javascript, the browser also becomes faster since there is no lingering javascript.

well, some websites didn't run w/o javascript. So, that won't do.

 

I don't recommend turning pop up window off, my old fashion way works the best...
Ctrl + W does the job.

 

Hmm, Mozilla 1.0 on Mandrake Linux does not display this pages ad thing at all, and I know that I have java loaded.
