Mozilla 1.7.5 has been released. Here are the Release Notes .
The downloads are in the ftp directory . Look for the installer, or just to check things out, .zip file. All that is at the bottom of the list.
I , first, tested it with unzipped file, but it took me a few minutes to accept it, and I uninstalled 1.7.3 first, then installed 1.7.5, using the same profile as before.
    1.7.5 seems to be zippy.

Indeed it is, Mozilla 1.7.5 is as fast as Firefox, because it now uses the same source code as Firefox.
I have installed the browser, sans Mail & Newsgroups, and am using it as my default browser, with Thunderbird. This is an amazing browser folks! I'm not saying abandon Firefox, but do give it a try. Anyone still using the Mozilla 1.7.3 suite should definitely upgrade to 1.7.5. I can guarantee that you will delighted!

I did make it my default browser Ramona! Very good effort by Mozilla. I installed the full browser and it's a bit faster than Firefox on an older Win98 PC (simpler, static GUI possibly?). There's something about the suite (either Mozilla or Netscape) that keeps drawing me back! :)

    HeyJeff!

I didn't mean to pull you away from whatever you were using, but I am glad to see that you tried the browser. It is excellent, and so nice to not have to add extensions in order to get the features you want. I still use Thunderbird for Mail, however...
