Can Mozilla 1.3 be made to not use the Windows 'application data' folder? The Cache folder can be reassigned but what about Cookies, History.dat etc.?

A feature of an alternative browser should be one that doesn't leave messy footprints elsewhere in Windows like IE.
A browser of this calibre that suffers from this seemingly unnecessary IE-type annoyance is for me the great thing that almost was.

Welcome to the Forum, Homer J!

    Hi Homer,

There is indeed a workaround for moving the Profile from the Application Data Folder. Works for both Mozilla and Netscape 7.: Move Profile Location

Backup the Profiles Folder before you start this procedure.

    Post back with any questions.

    Ramona :D
