[Resolved] moving mouse virus

hello.
I need some help. While studying at my desk the other day, i noticed that my mouse was moving on its own. I immediately thought that someone was controlling my computer through a virus or something so i unplugged my computer from the internet connection.Even after i unplugged my connection from the wall, (and i do not have any type of wireless) my mouse was still moving around my screen. Sometimes it will exit the program i am in, or even try to start up a new page on the internet. When I first attempted to run my virus scan, the mouse moved on its own and closed the window. I eventually ran a couple scans but it is still moving on my computer. For about a week my old virus protection was expired until i downloaded a version of AVG protection.

Turned my computer on this morning to check e-mail and the mouse was still moving on its own.... any suggestions?
