   I have a new laptop with windows 7 and microsoft office 2010. My other computer has word 2000 and windows xp. How should I transfer a folder with documents in word 2000 to the new computer so the folder will be in word 2010?

   The folder doesn't need to be "in Word 2010." It just needs to be somewhere on the new comp. Put it in your My Documents folder on the new comp and Word 2010 will be able to open the files.
