I need to find out how to move MS Publisher 2007 to another computer after "activation ".

I suspect that I must "de-activate" the current installation, "un-install" the program and then repeat the process on another computer but can find no instruction about how to go about doing that. Thanks

    I imagine Publisher 2007 is similar to 2003 ....

You may install it on 2 computers (screenshot) - Help > About > View end user licence agreement.

AFAIK there is no way of deactivating - if you have problems activating over the internet do so by telephone and tell MS that you are moving the program to another computer.

Whatever way round you are legally entitled to install and activate 2 copies.

The only program that I have come across in which you can de-activate is Photoshop CS2 and higher.

I installed the 2007 Publisher program and learned that I was lisenced to put the program on a desktop and a laptop.

I haven't been able to learn if I will be able to install the program when I buy a new computer.
Thanks for your reply. Most helpful.

You will be able to, but almost certainly will have to do so via voice communication with MS on their Avtivation line, explaining that you have a new computer - and have removed Publisher from the old.
