Move Office XP from old computer to new?

    I have the Office XP upgrade CD (I had correctly installed on my old computer which had Office 97 in it - required to use upgrade version).
    I removed Office 97 and disposed of the Office 97 CD. Now I want to move or install Office XP into my new computer. I get error 1608 - need previous Office version. Microsoft says basically "too bad I should have saved the Office 97 CD ". Is there any way to move or install the Office XP into the new computer??? or am I just SOL!

    Nope. The upgrade version is less expensive due to you already having paid for another version of Office. You have to be able to prove it...
