I had a total computercrash early this summer on my home stationary computer and bought i a hurry a laptop with win home vista premium. It was easy to move emails from my backup to the laptop, but now when I have bought a new stationary computer also, I wish to move email back (to win xp pro and outlook express) - and of course if it is possible, syncronise all mail on these two computers.
I have read a lot of discussions on the matter but still some confused. I therefore hope this forum can clear i up. I have found a way to move the mail through messenger (both ways), but it is been told that I then loose the originally maildates so this is no option for me.
I don't want to change the OS on my stationary to vista, so I'm looking for a solution that can do the job between home vista premium and xp pro/outlook express. (*.eml - *.dbx)

    Please help !

In WM, emails are individual eml files that you can drag and drop from Explorer into an OE folder.

A 3rd party program like OEX makes it more easy to synchronize between the two message stores.

    The good old fashion way:

With in the Account setup is an option to "Leave Mail on Server." When checked on both machines, you'll receive the same mail on both machines.

When sending mail, BCC yourself to get a copy of the sent mail on the other machine.
