I want to stop using Incredimail, but can I move my address book, AND all my saved messages to Outlook 2003?

    Hello leflach -

    And welcome to these boards!

I have had Outlook "installed" on three computers for at least the last eight years but I have never used it. Well, until about ten days ago.

Obviously, I am not your basic "Outlook expert" and I have no idea how Outlook and Incredimail may interact with each other. All I can do here is offer you an idea. It may work and it may not - at any rate; here it is.

Have you tried opening Outlook, clicking on File > 'Import and Export' and then selecting 'Import Internet Mail and Addresses'??

I don't have a clue as to whether or not it will work but . . . . methinks, it's worth a shot. What could it hurt? Bottom line: It's your decision and it will either do what you want it to . . . or it won't!

I can only hope that someone with more Outlook knowledge and experience will soon 'chime in' and let you know for sure. :)

Good luck in your quest. :D :D

    Mike

    First, Address books:

Outlook can always import from a file. An Excel file, or a .csv file. So, if you can export, then you can import.

    Mail:

If you can export your mail to a .pst folder, then you can import that to Outlook.
