Windows Vista Move C:\Users\"Username"\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Wind ows\Cookies

    How do I move C:\Users\ "Username "\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Cookies to F:/Cookies? What shall i type in MKLINK? I don't want any cookies with my system and windows files. I can't move the Cookies destination in IE7

    Can i move the Logs from Vista's logbook too?

    I would be very thankfull for help!

    Try this technique from Ed Bott:

    I just tried moving the cookie folder you referenced and it works. Make sure IE is not running when you do it.

    One word of caution - you may loose all the cookies in that folder, doesn't matter to me, but it may to you if you have a lot of sign in cookies. I'm going to reset it back anyway.

    Take a look at this thread, you may want to move other user folders off the OS partition as well.

    You can try it, but log files are not user files - before you try either move, create a manual System Restore point.
