Hi. Folks. I am using IE7 and Logitech wheel mouse on a PB computer. Have had no problems until now. When I activate the mouse wheel one notch , the page on screen will move four times. I would appreciate any ideas as to how to resolve this. Regards, William.

Also, check the mouse applet in the control panel. You should be able to set it there.

Hello Bmoore and Zander, Many thanks for your replies. Did as you both suggested. There was no change. Scrolling size is set at 3 lines. I tried other line numbers available without success. Got screen message "Run a DLL as an App ". I don't understand that bit. Hope this helps. Regards, William.

    Hi William,

Does it only happen when using IE and surfing on the internet? Try updating "internet" applications. The main one I would do is Java, you can get the update from the Sun Microsystems website (www.java.com). Others may include Macromedia flash player or Apple's Quicktime player, but I would mainly suspect Java.

    Matt
Edit: also, after those updates, I would go to Add/Remove Programs, highlight Microsoft Internet Explorer and click Remove. There you will find an option to "Repair" Internet Explorer (I suppose IE 7 is the same as previous versions), run the repair.

Hello Matt, Many thanks for your reply. Yes, it only happens during surfing using IE7. I updated all as you suggested. There was no improvement. Went to 'add/remove'. No 'repair' for IE7. Deleted same and returned to IE6. The problem was resolved immediately. Many thanks for your attention. Regards, William.
