Mouse pointer dissapears on Surface 3

    I've searched and tried most of the fixes, and recently reset the pc which I thought fixed the problem vut after a couple of days it happened again. Restarting always brings it back. I have a surface 3 with the attached keyboard cover..

    I have the same issue on two different ThinkPads, but only in Chrome. One TP has a touch screen while the other does not.
    The pointer works in every other program. Restarting brings it back, but only temporarily. I understand it is a Chrome issue but it only happens on my laptops. My desktop machines do not exhibit the same problem.
    I have never found a solution that works.
