Mouse lagging...

    My mouse is sort of lagging! (not shore if that is a good word to use)

    As I move my mouse around sometimes it wont respond for a few seconds and sometimes it'll just "jump" as I move the mouse! It was fine yesterday! :(

    I think it might be a case of installing the drivers again but I really dont know how to on XP!

    Gary, I had the same problem. The mouse would sometime jump maybe an inch at a time. Other times would be fine. I have a Dell machine and ran the Repair from the Recovery Disk. That took care of that problem.

    If you have a Recovery Disk, it might help you with this in the same way.

    Gary, although this may sound stupid, before installing drivers etc again try and check the simple stuff.

    I had the same kinda problem as youre having, and it turned out that all I needed to do was take the 3 tonnes of 'gunk' out of the inside of my mouse. Mines been fine ever since.
