I'm running Mozilla 1.6 and have been doing so for many months. In the last 4 days, my mouse has frozen twice while in Mozilla and when I reboot I get the message that the file:
Windows/System32/Config/System is either missing or corrupt.
When the mouse freezes I have to hold the power button in for several seconds before the computer will shut down. The above message happens when I restart my machine. Anyone know what is causing this? Thanks.

    ackerberg,

Check this MSKB Articles for your error:
    http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=307545

The error suggests a corrupt Registry, and the above article tells you how to recover. This assumes that you are using Windows XP.
