motherboard/windows problem

maybe you are the wrong people to ask but windows webiste is rubbish.
please help me. i dont want to hurt my pc.

im trying to install windows me on a asus P5A motherboard but i keep getting errors....

first attemp..

'an application using trutype fonts caused an error please exit.' or somthing like this.

so i flashed the bios with a beta.
but it hung on 12% of initial instalation. before it copyed anything.

put old bios back on

now it says 'setup cannot copy files to your conputer; error SUO325' on 10% of copying windows files.

repeatedly.

You sure the motherboard is the problem and not the hard drive?

 

i reakon, i have replaced the hdd.
