    Hi all,
    I've recently added Win2kpro to my 'putta after hearing how stable it was, and that drivers etc should not be the problem they once were, and i'm having nothing but trouble ; (
    I'm getting a lot of BSOD PFN_LIST_CORUPT errors,
    which is something to do with drivers, all my devices, CD, DVD, Soundcard etc are on Micro$ofts compatable list, and i have downloaded new drivers where appropriate, but at the moment every time i boot up i get new hardware reconised, both hard drives, CD and DVD drives, IDE controller, and 2 IDE channels.
    i tell it to search the win2k CD and windows upate, it doesn't find any drivers, and recommends i disable devices, which i do, then i can access all drives!! if i try to run the hardware troubleshooter it says, device functioning correctly, but on the next boot, i have to do it all again. also, my onboard USB will not function which leads me to;
    my Motherboard. - old, and not a brilliant model when it was new, a pc chips M760v - am i asking for trouble, should i upgrade my board?, should i go back to my win 98's?
    can anyone here suggest another cure to my problem?
    many thanks in advance,
    spotta.
