Monitor turns off on OS Loading

    So yeah, this didn't happen before but i just reformatted my PC everything was okay. But when i restart my pc, on the XP loading screen after that my monitor turns off like it's in stand by.

    however when i use safe mode, everything is okay.. :< can someone help me?

    If you have formatted the drive and made a fresh install of XP have you ....

    Loaded the motherboard chipset drivers?

    Loaded the drivers and software for your video card?

    In Safe Mode Windows default drivers are used.

    hey thanks for the reply PeteC

    Well i was able to fix it.. I uninstalled the previous installation of my VGA driver. then it loaded normally. Then i reinstalled the driver and it works fine now. :)
