    Computer Dell
    Operating system Windows XP
When the system is just idling all of a sudden an error saying "color restoration in progress" and the screen cycles through all the colors like red green etc: continually untill I move the mouse. Then its back to normal desktop view. But if left idling then it goes through the same cycle again.
I have no idea whats causing this phenomenon or what to do about it.
    Can anybody help?
