Monitor coating

    Hi.
    I got from a neighbour a Samsung Syncmaster 959 19" monitor. It works perfect, the only problem is that its external coating is almost 80% gone (due to inappropriate cleaning, probably). Like this, it is unusable.
    I checked and the remaining coating can be removed entirely. The only question is: Is it safe? Is this coating against radiation? Or is it only anti-static and/or antiglare?

    A little hard to tell without actually seeing it but, more than likely it's an anti-glare coating.
