I have an older computer, 300meg, celeron. Sometimes when I turn on the computer, I get no picture. The video card is ok because I tried it in another computer. sometimes it will work. There doesnt seem to be a certain thing I do to make it work or not. Any ideas?

Check the connections between the PC and the monitor - could be a dodgy cable.

Does the monitor power up OK even when there is no picture?

Try the monitor on another PC - could be failing
