modifying service account

hi out there
I just stumbled over a simple problem - or I thought so - I need to modify a service from a script so that it will be started under a given acocunt - this can easily be done from either sc.exe or directly from .wsh etc etc - but - this account which has to run this service might not have the permission to start/run a service.
Can somebody tell me how I grant a user this permission from a script?

 

Could you explain a little more of the situation where you need to do this.

My first thought is, "you can't" but maybe with some particulars ...

when we run a installation we have to install a service with a useraccount which is a normal non-priviliged user - we do want this user to be permitted to run a service - but we need to "batch" it - run this user-modification from a script. so that when we start the service it will run under this user-account. We we normally use the MMC for modifying a service the user is automatically granted this privilige but this is not the case when we install the service with f.ex. sc or modify the setup from wsh - any suggestions?
