I have my computer set to have the modem bring the computer out of standby. When I try and dial in from a remote computer, however, typically using a program such as PC Anywhere, the protocol between modems is established but the screen remains dark. As a result, I can't get in to the host computer. I have tried various settings in Power Management (i.e. never turn off monitor) but I always get the same result.

This seems to be a Windows Issue as the actual monitor on the host computer will not turn on either, even when the connection is made.

    Anyone have any thoughts?

    Hello boutells,

Thoughts yes, hard information, no :)

Under Power Schemes in the drop down menu where I assume Home/Desktop is now, try Always on. That turns the time to never except for the Monitor, which then adjust to never as well.

    Regards - Charles
