Modem Issues

    Hi,

    Over the last few weeks i have been experiencing issues with my Speedtouch broadband modem. These issues are:

    Sudden disconnection - I guess this could be caused by a loose connection.

    Data speed - No transfer of data taking place even though the modem is showing as connect.

    Could re-installing the modem be a fix or could there be something more sinister at work?

    There isn't a way to reinstall...However turning it off (pull the power cable) for a full five minutes might be a good thing to try.

    If you are in the UK then your Speedtouch has drivers - uninstall/reinstall, see if that helps.
