modem disconnect when switching users

Hi,

I have started using the dial up connection from my XP home ed box and have multiple accounts set up. However I notice that when switching users from the admin account which dials into the ISP to another account - even though the XP signon screen shows programs running on the admin account it looks like the internet connection is stopped once I do a switch user.

Is this normal behavior? How do I keep the internet connection on for all users?

Yes it is normal.

You can edit the registry manually or download a .reg file from Kelly's XP Korner (#32) to change the default behavior.
