I build a P4 with an Amptron Mobo M922 series. My problem is that the kmeyboard goes out every now and then. I have to unplug the ps2 cable and plug it back in to get the keyboard to work. Is it just getting to hot or is there a jumper that may be wrong.
    Thanks in advance

Try troubleshooting with a different keyboard. I used to have this happen alot. Some PS/2 connects can be very fussy possibly due to some abuse. When it happened, I had to shut down, pull out the PS/2 connector and put it back in very hard. From that fact that this worked, I was led to believe that the physical PS/2 connection just wasn't very good.

I don't remember it ever happening once I was up - it would always happen during POST.
