MN-700 Set up problems

    I have a MN-700 connected to a sat modem. The first time In set it up it worked like a charm. After turning off and restarting I have lost the connection. I have tried to reinstall with no success. I have read that I should let XP do all the set up and not use the Setup and Networking Utility. If this is so could some one walk me through it.
