mmc_2K.sys error

    I have a new pc with Roxio Record Now. I am more familiar with Easy CD Creator 5 Basic so I decided to install it.

    I formatted CDs with Easy CD but when I attempt to drag and drop files to the CD I get the dreaded blue screen of death and a long error message that refers to mmc_2k.sys

    Are the two programs in conflict? Should I uninstall both Easy CD and Roxio and then re-install Easy CD?

    I don't want to cause this new pc to crash and burn. Please help!!

    There has long been a drama about roxio and its driver compatibility with other software....Uninstall the whole thing..

    You should not use two burning suites on the same computer because of possible conflicts :)
