I paid my accountant to put quick books on my PC and my lap top.
took a few hours to import the back up files he had and show me how to use it a little.
I took the the 2 PC's home and theres no quicken, so i called him he doesn't know what to say except that he knows it was there cause he showed me how to use the program, which is right he did.
    So where did it go?
but heres the great part the other PC is missing the program as well,
but the quick books import files are still their?

Quickbooks and Quicken are 2 different programs AFAIK or was that a typo?

Have you looked in Program Files - probably (x86)?

When program was installed, was he (accountant) logged into "your" user account ?
If NO - Hopefully program has option to allow multi-user account access.

Yes, the program file is still there. the Quickbooks backup files are as well.
It is as if the system rolled back for some reson? but on both machines?

any ways, my accountant brought me the disc and we are going to just re-install the program.

Well it was quit strange. It was like my PC rolled back, the Program was missing but the backups where still their so all we had to do was re-install the program and import the files again. Not a big deal but how does that happen to both computers? I could see this happening to one, but both?
any ways you don't really need to answer that question. I'm sure its just a freak occurrence.
