Missing Pictures in various Browsers

    I know there has been talk on this subject be for but I cannot find a working solution so I thought I would give it a second round. When I go to any web site with 2 different browsers most if not all the pictures are missing...with a little red x in their place It has been on going and I am back to put this one to bed. Please, any leads or suggestions would be great. Have a wonderful day!!!

    Sandi Hardmeier has written a fairly comprehensive article regarding this issue.

    Given that your problem is cross-browser, I'd be inclined to start by looking at third-party software and registry issues.

    szvpvp--That is a good article.
    But do try the simplest solutions first.
    1)Click Refresh.
    2) Or right click on the X and then Show Pictures. If that solves the problem, the problem is in the servers. Nothing you can do.
    You say this occurs only on certain websites so I assume the problem is not the setting in IE Tools|Internet Options|Advanced tab|Multimedia section|Show Pictures should be checked.
    And then it could be a need for having Macromedia Flash installed.
    Right click on the RedX, then Properties. What is shown on the Address line? Maybe you are only missing out on advertisements. ;)
