MIssing Icons and Sytem Restore

    My problem:
    a) When I go to My Computer, and click on C: drive the next window comes up blank.....no icons.
    b) When I click on Start/Settings/Control Panel, the next window comes up blank.....no icons
    c) When I click on Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore, the next window comes up blank.
    (I've done a scan of system for viruses with Norton.....no viruses
    Any ideas???)

    Not sure if it's present in ME, but if so this may be worth a try. Search for a file named shelliconcache and delete it. Possibly a hidden file. Reboot. Did this start about the same time you had the Ghost problem?
