I upgraded to XP SP2 and had problems when trying to install certain software. I contacted the company that made this software and explained the problem. They told me that I had the file AUTOEXEC.NT missing from C:\windows\system32, in fact there was no such file in this folder, I copied it and everything worked perfectly. I restarted the computer and everything seems to be working properly at least till now. All I want to kwow from anybody who installed the SP2 is if this file is missing from the system32 folder. thanks,

I do have it in mine (XP Pro SP2). It is dated Saturday, August 14, 2004, 06:36:51 which is the day I did SP2 slipstream to my XP Pro SP1 disk.
