All of a sudden, my "a" floppy drive doesn't show up when I run windows explorer. I checked hardware devices, and the floppy is shown. I would have enabled but it already is enabled. I ran troubleshooter, but couldn't find anything. Reading previous posts, I was going to run CHKDSK, but where do you run it? Ironically, I was trying to create a boot disk....ha ha ha...anybody got any ideas...thanks

    Try this -

Shut down PC - remove power cable (or ribbon cable) from floppy drive - reboot.

Shut down PC - reconnect - reboot
