When windows 95 starts this message appears: "The LOADWC.EXE file is linked to missing export SHLWAPI.DLL:wnsprintfA" Since I have reloaded Windows 95 from CD there the Parallel printer port doesn't work. I also messed up Explorer 5 so bad it doesn't work and I can't reload it. I have installed Netscape Communicator for a browser in its place. Any suggestions besides a new OS?

I think the answer to your error message problem is to get IE5 reinstalled. Most likely the shlwapi.dll got over-written with an older version during the windows installation. Loadwc.exe is a file that checks to see if IE is the default browser or not and it needs a newer version of the file than the one that gets installed when you install windows. What happens when you try to reinstall IE5? Are there any error messages? Have you tried using the Internet Explorer repair tool?
As for your parallel port problem, have you looked in the device manager to see if there's any yellow exclamation marks by anything? If so you can remove the device, reboot and see if windows can sort it out when it redetects it.
