Missing DLL in Yahoo Messenger?

    I have installed yahoo
    messenger but because of some reasons I removed yahoo messenger by add/remove programe.

    When i reinstall yahoo messenger in my computer a
    error message occured on screen.

    ERROR MESSAGE:

    could not execute the external programme.
    c:\PROGRAMME \YAHOO!\MESSENGER1\YPAGER.EXE
    A required DLL file IDLE.DLL was not found
    Please look into the matter and give appropriate
    solution.

    Have you done a search of you harddrive for the missing .dll file? If not you might want to give that a shot.

    If the .dll file is no where to be found uninstall messenger from your system again, if you haven't already done so.

    Using Windows Explorer make sure that the folder and any subfolders associated with the program have indeed been removed.

    In Windows Explorer delete all of your Temp files.

    Reboot your system.

    Download a new copy of Yahoo Messenger and try to install it.

    Let us know if that fixed your problem.
