Resolved Missing address bar, menu bar, task bar.

When I go to a web-page from a link in an e-mail, IE8 opens without any of the usual bars at the top of the screen, and the only way I can navigate to a different web-site is by using task manager to end the process, then open IE8 afresh.
Most of my usage at the moment is with links in e-mails from a particular Forum , and it is happening all the time with these. I note that here in BBS, I got to this page without losing the bars , so presumably there is something wrong with the code being used in the links I am sent ? In which case I take it up wih the forum moderator in question ?

If you put the curser at the top of the screen - does it bring back the bars? Neil.

 

Thanks all - I did some system restore stuff, and it all seems to work OK now, so I will just hope it stays that way.
