MiniBug

    I did a search for MiniBug on a 98SE machine.

    During the process I found one place where MiniBug came from. Also it was referenced in EVERY Spybot Search & Destory LOG.

    AIM95 In the Aim95 folder there is a file named WxBug.exe.

    I deleted the folder. Ran RegSeeker and removed 7 entrys.

    WxBug.exe. Everything was re-entered as first found.

    Running it created-- C:\Program Files\AWS\WeatherBug which contains the file MiniBugTransporter.dll And appears as though it is installed when Aim95 is. And is the only file there.

    Cleaned things up again. Should have checked the dates BUT I FORGOT it.

    Would a newer Version of AIM stop this ?

    I check my Wifes' machine and see MiniBug only referenced in the SpyBot S&D files.

    The only way I found it was to do a search for anything containing the text "MiniBug ".

    Just searching for " MiniBug " found nothing.
